Work-Based Learning

Our Work-Based Learning office connects students to jobs. Work based learning opportunities include:

• Job Shadows - students are placed with a business/industry for a day and are able to observe someone on the job to see what a certain job is like.
• Non-Paid Work Experiences - students are matched with area professionals in their areas of interest and work alongside other employees.
• Co-op/Capstone Experience - students are released from their school for a portion of the day and placed with an area employer for a paid experience. Students gain practical work experience before high school graduation.
• Internships - students gain experience working with an area employer
